Cask Away

Description

In collaboration with Swings & Roundabouts – Cask Away is a melding of beer and wine with a smooth rich porter base being boosted by cabernet juice and oak additions, perfect for sipping around a fireplace in the cooler months.

Cask Away pours dark brown to black with a strong tan head. Chocolate and coffee aromas are followed by the sweet alluring smell of red berries and subtle Cabernet notes, blended with vanillins from the oak. Chocolate and caramel make another appearance on the front palate with medium bitterness, red berry notes follow in mid palate, and vanillin sweetness rounds out the back.

Cask Away is sweetly bold with Cabernet notes and sits firmly in the dry wine camp with dryness imparted by the oak tannins.
