Crowded House, The Lamington, Pavlova and The Flat White, all things we have attempted to take from New Zealand and claim as our own here in Australia. One thing we can’t claim ownership of is the humble NZ Pilsner.
Long White Cloud is our tip of the fedora to the crew across the ditch. Pouring with a light golden hue, lychee, white bread and herbaceous aromas spring from the glass. A tight and light mouthfeel with tropical fruit flavours provided by liberal additions of Wakatu, Kohatu, Motueka and Taiheke. LWC is a crusher of the highest order.
We are huge fans of New Zealand and the awesome hops that they produce. We will take everything we can get in that department. They can keep Russell Crowe though….
