Description
The silent assassin, the strongest Pilsner we have ever brewed and the first lager/wine hybrid we have put through the kit.
Having linked up with Deeds in Victoria to brew Collusion before the world shut down, we having been chomping at the bit to return serve here in WA.
Justin and Ned at Deeds sure know their way around a good lager and after some fairly harebrained ideas got thrown around in the standard drawn out email chain, we landed with an Imperial Pilsner with fresh Chenin Blanc juice.
Pouring a light gold with a rocky white head, expect herbal aromas along with freshly cut hay, baked bread, pear and white wine.
A robust mouthfeel provided by rich malt derived sweetness, TSST finishes dry and bitter on the palate without leaving you hanging.
Not only is it our first wine/lager hybrid, it is also the first time we have used these malts, hops and yeast. We are damn stoked with the result and TSST is the indeed the quiet achiever!
