Rocky Ridge’s IPA Day ’26 collaboration series.

This year we’ve decided to make our IPA Day celebration a celebration of the West Coast IPA in all its many evolutions.

To do that, we put the call out to four ridiculously good Aussie breweries we’d broken hops with before, and were stoked to have the crews from Bracket, Found, Good Land and Banks all jump on board. With the collective wisdom of so many of the country’s best brewers in the room, we realised the smartest thing to do was hand the reins to the actual MVPs — the people who spend their days covered in malt dust and hop pellets making the magic happen.

True to the spirit of IPA Day, this series wasn’t born in a boardroom, or from a list of target demographics and mood boards. Quite the opposite. It’s a middle finger to marketing departments everywhere (ours included). Instead, we decided to build this year’s IPA Day celebration around four simple ideas, and from those came four very different, but equally incredible beers.

Creative Freedom — Liberum Fermentum
Embrace Excess — Pacificus Maximus
Respect the Past — Naturalis Historia
Have Fun — Dorkus Malorkus

We couldn’t be happier with how these beers have turned out, or with the journey of bringing them to life. They’re proof that the no-half-measures approach always delivers, that enjoying the process makes better beer, and that when brewers brew what they want, everyone wins.
