Dorkus Malorkus – Found IPA Day Collab

Second in a series of four killer interstate collaborations we’ve created with great Aussie brewing mates for IPA DAY ’26. Dorkus Malorkus meaning: “Have fun!” Credit to Will from Found for this great name, proof that while we both take making beer seriously, we also love to colour outside the lines, be dorks and just generally try not to overthink it and let the beer be a good time.

When we got together with our fellow WA mates at Found Beer it felt like a natural fit to lean into the weird and brew something really bold that blurs the lines, managing to deliver juiciness and a classic West Coast finish.

Pouring pale gold with a gentle haze and fluffy white head, this one’s loaded with an almost comical amount of Citra in every form imaginable. Noble Citra, Cryo Citra, Citra DynaBoost, Citra HyperBoost, plus CL-076 and Amplifire Riwaka Hop Oil were all piled into the fermenter by the understandably excited brew team.

The result is an explosion of passionfruit, peach, berries and bright citrus before nectarine, light resin and subtle dankness take over across a medium-full body. The bitterness is unmistakably West Coast, but knows exactly when to pull its punches, leaving behind a clean finish that keeps dragging you back. A beer that’s loud and full of laughs, ’cos when you enjoy the process the results speak for themselves.
